From our energy and heating through to helping you explore our beautiful part of Scotland, we have tried to make everything as sustainable as possible.
We are equipped with ground source heat pump, solar panels and batteries to store the solar energy.

most of our energy needs for the ground source heat pump (heating and hot water) comes from our solar panels together with batteries from Spring through to Autumn.
In winter when we do need to import electricity this comes from a supplier using 100% renewable sources
Have an electric car?
If you wish to bring your electric car, please ask about on-site electric car charging. Providing you can restrict your charging to 11.30pm - 5.30am, you can charge your car at the super low rates we pay at these times (7p/kW hr).
Looking for the ultimate sustainable holiday?
Arrive by public transport, including bus from Glasgow to Lochgilphead. You'll need a taxi just for the last 7 miles to Crinan.
Then use the bikes we provide, to explore. There is so much to see and do, all within a 10 mile radius.
